How do the video walkrounds work?
Tap the Video button on any car in your admin. On your phone the camera opens for that car; on a computer you scan a QR code with your phone. Walk round the car for a minute and you are done. The video goes on the car page, on Local Car Sales and on our Facebook car pages.
Do I need any special equipment?
No. Any smartphone that records video will do. You can film there and then, or choose a video you have already recorded.
What if my signal drops while it uploads?
It carries on from where it stopped. Uploads are sent in small pieces, so a weak forecourt signal or a closed page does not mean starting again.
Will the video slow my website down?
No. Every video is automatically made small enough to load quickly on a phone, and it only plays when a buyer taps it.
Does the video show where it was filmed?
No. The location information a phone stores inside a video is removed before it goes live.
What happens when the car sells?
The video comes off automatically when the car is marked sold. You can also replace or remove it at any time.
Does it cost extra?
